In September 2019, Holocaust and Antisemitism Foundation founders Perry Trotter and Dr Sheree Trotter visited Auschwitz for the first time. The “Auschwitz. Now.” exhibition was created as a result of that visit.

The exhibition was launched at a UN International Holocaust Remembrance Day event in Bethlehem, Tauranga, New Zealand, to an audience of 500. It was subsequently staged at NZ’s Parliament, at AUT University in Auckland, and in Howick, Auckland.

The exhibition consists of large colour prints of Auschwitz I and II along with portraits of Holocaust survivors. A number of the Holocaust Foundation’s Shadows of Shoah stories play in the exhibition on a large screen.
